About The Position

Lead Scheduler Transdev in Denver, Colorado is hiring a Lead Scheduler to provide direction and assistance to the scheduling team to ensure the timely distribution of quality manifests. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities in stressful conditions.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook), and the ability to learn new software.
  • One year of previous experience in a Reservations or call center environment is required.
  • Previous scheduling experience required.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Have a thorough understanding of and ability to communicate/train scheduling processes, including training new employees.
  • Provide directions for the scheduling team throughout the day to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
  • Monitor demand to ensure runs are adjusted as needed, additional servce is requested, run closure requests are approved or denied as appropriate.
  • Manage center closure process, including delegation of responsibilities as needed.
  • Be able to manage subscription requests from application receipt through review with feedback from the Supervisor regarding set-up.
  • Run reports on the subscription database and review requests based on the date submitted for setting up the subscription service.
  • Maintain employee confidentiality
  • Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and policies as well as assist in the creation or updates of such documents.
  • Must be flexible in schedule to ensure work is completed each day and for possible shift coverage situations.
  • Provide feedback or suggestions to supervisor and/or management on areas for improvement.
  • Supervise the department in the Supervisor’s absence on weekends, evenings, holidays, and vacation days.
  • Develop/maintain effective communications and working relationships with call center and carrier staff.
