The Role: The Pace Setter The Lead Sales & Guest Experience Associate is a high-performance, developmental role. You aren’t just hitting your own goals; you are the one the team looks to for energy and direction, especially when management isn’t in the building. This is the crucial step in your career journey. At UPMA Group, we use this role to prepare our future leaders for the next level: Sales Associate Sales Lead (YOU) Assistant Center Manager Center Manager & Beyond! Note: This is a leadership development role, not a formal management position. You won’t be handling disciplinary actions or paperwork—your focus is 100% on sales culture, center flow, and real-time coaching. What Sets the "Lead" Apart? While our GSAs focus on their individual guest interactions, the Lead GSA takes it a step further: The "Player-Coach": You model high-performance sales behavior. When the team sees you at the desk, they see exactly how a Wax Pass should be sold. Shift Leadership: You work the opposite shifts of management (3–4 times per week) to ensure the center always has a leader on deck. Real-Time Coaching: You help your peers overcome objections and improve their numbers in the moment. Operational Integrity: You ensure the center's "Visual Standard" is perfect, from the lobby to the Wax Suites, reporting any needs directly to the Center Manager. Scheduling & Availability Dynamic Scheduling: This role requires a high degree of flexibility. You will lead a variety of shifts throughout the week (mornings and evenings) and will be required to work at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week to ensure our team and guests are supported during our busiest times. You must also be available for emergency shift coverage when needed. Who We’re Looking For A Proven Closer: You have a trackable record of success in high-performance sales and hitting KPIs. A Natural Influencer: You can speak confidently in front of the team and coach others effectively without formal authority. Self-Motivated & Reliable: You are the person who shows up on time, stays proactive during downtime, and handles high-stress moments with a calm, logical head. Career-Minded: You want to learn the foundations of leadership to eventually move into an Assistant Center Manager role.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals and manage KPIs
  • Previous experience in a high-volume retail or service environment
  • Proficient in POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and basic math
  • A desire to be a passionate EWC Brand Culture Warrior

Responsibilities
