Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in DSD or direct sales preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and kneeling.
  • Strong sales abilities and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

Responsibilities

  • Train Route Sales Professionals in all aspects of route operations including ordering, distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
  • Build effective customer relationships to maximize sales and ensure client retention.
  • Drive sales through new product introductions, display space acquisition, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze sales data to make informed decisions and drive brand growth.
  • Conduct daily route settlement procedures for all products, invoices, and cash.
  • Drive company route truck safely and complete DOT daily logs.
  • Maintain proper inventory counts and place product orders using a handheld device.
  • Ensure world-class merchandising and proper rotation of products for freshness.
  • Promote company safety beliefs and practices.
  • Other duties may be required as assigned.
