About The Position

The Lead Retail Sales Expert at uBreakiFix, an Asurion company, is a pivotal role focused on electronic device repair, exceptional customer service, and team leadership. This position involves diagnosing and repairing various electronic devices, ensuring high-quality fixes. The expert will lead a team in delivering customer service excellence, utilizing product knowledge and sales tactics. Responsibilities also include balancing front and back-of-house duties, supervising, training, and coaching tech experts, and potentially stepping in as a store manager. The role requires maintaining service-level agreements for repair turnaround times, managing inventory, overseeing buybacks and return authorizations, and ensuring safety standards are met. Asurion aims to make technology more accessible and useful, providing services from cellphone insurance to repairs and replacements, guided by values of customer-first approach, teamwork, continuous improvement, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail sales in a supervisory position – at least 1 year.
  • Previous experience with product service support or technology repair with inventory management skills – at least 6 months.
  • A natural ability to connect with customers, making them feel heard, valued, and cared for.
  • Motivation to meet and exceed evolving key performance goals.
  • Ability to quickly adapt in an ever-changing environment.
  • Flexibility to work retail store hours including weekends and holidays.

  • Balance different front and back of house responsibilities.

  • Maintain high standards by overseeing service-level agreements for repair turnaround times and ensuring all work orders are addressed by the end of each day.
  • Innovate and organize by managing inventory, overseeing buybacks and return authorizations, and ensuring safety standards are met with the proper use of PPE supplies.
