About The Position

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking an outgoing Lead Retail Sales Agent (Full TIme) to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.

Requirements

  • Must have 1 year of retail experience
  • The ability to guide & motivate team members, make effective decisions & manage conflict in a positive way
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills for interactions with customers, team members & management
  • Excellent customer service skills & the ability to provide a positive shopping experience
  • Ability to understand & manage inventory, including stocking, pricing & markdowns
  • Knowledge of display techniques, visual merchandising & creating a visually appealing shopping environment.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations & resolve issues in a calm & professional manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members & departments

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all guests receive a quality in-store experience.
  • Interact with customers by effectively using customer engagement strategies and model desired behavior for the rest of the team.
  • Lead the associates by example in increasing sales
  • Communicate shop goals & merchandising opportunities.
  • Assist with new hire micros pos training
  • Explain & monitor the daily opening & closing procedures, help the team maintain our shop standards
  • Provide guidance & become a great resource for fellow employee operational/micros questions.
  • Work in unison to help hold the retail associates accountable
  • Assist with re-stocking & inventory to ensure the store operations are running effectively
  • See the value & potential in every team member, seek feedback & field questions
  • Become an advocate for the team’s needs, help shape the environment that enables the team to do their best.
  • Conduct the new hire property retail specific tour
  • Sign off on the onboarding checklist, turn in the Retail Manager or Retail Director
  • Help identify and communicate barriers and trends that contribute to the customer and associate experience and support the manager in building a strong site culture.
  • Provide support with monthly MOS Audits: Most significantly retail team leaders guide and coordinate the work of the team to complete tasks, identify and explore opportunities that drive sales, ensuring team members maintain business standards in relation to merchandising, service and promotional activities, in line with procedures.
