About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to join our team! You will be making an impact each day by responding to customer needs for Water and Fire Restoration jobs. This includes the completion of drying, demolition, and other restoration activities. You are IICRC certified with meaningful previous experience in cleaning/restoration. You hold yourself to a high standard and care deeply about the quality of your work and its impact on customers and your team. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. Requirements

  • IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, etc.)
  • Experience in cleaning/restoration
  • Experience serving residential & commercial properties
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
  • Ability to wear a respirator for prolonged periods
  • Ability to travel locally

Nice To Haves

  • It’s a PLUS if you have current experience using any of the following: MICA or DocuSketch.

Responsibilities

  • Perform production/restoration process per work order and mitigation manager instructions.
  • Properly document the project on a daily basis using the required software and hardware
  • Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipment.
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
  • Leave the job site with a clean and orderly appearance
  • Communicate openly with the property owner, mitigation manager and technicians
