Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, oversees the nursing unit during assigned hours. Performs all duties of Charge Nurse. Performs all essential functions with consideration of the patients' age and developmental specific needs. Directs and monitors the daily activities in the assigned nursing department to ensure standards of patient care are met. Plans, delegates, and directs comprehensive nursing care by assigning, instructing, and leading a team of professional and/or ancillary staff. Serves as clinical and professional resource. Fosters patient and family-centered care in accordance with the Brown University Health and Bradley Hospital’s mission, vision, values, with consideration of the Brown University Health, including all developmental stages and cultural patterns.
