About The Position

Lead Radiology Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift - Monday - Friday from 6:30am-3pm $6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. The Lead Radiology Technologist monitors and assists with direction of technical operation of a high volume and fast paced Radiology section of Diagnostic Imaging; assumes direct control of specific areas within Radiology as assigned; oversees workflow coordination and monitors daily radiology department schedule to assure proper tech and patient scheduling for smooth exam workflow. Schedules in-patient exams in a timely fashion to meet patient needs; assists with staff training, addressing equipment and safety concerns, coordinating and collaborating with multiple departments within the facility; performs radiographic procedures as needed to the high standards of the facility. Requirements

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Oregon Radiographer License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years Diagnostic Imaging experience.
