Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is looking for a Lead Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team! The Lead X-Ray/OR Charge Technologist is responsible for overseeing daily radiographic operations across the hospital, clinics, and Operating Room to ensure the delivery of high quality diagnostic imaging services. This role provides technical expertise, strong leadership, and guidance to imaging staff, ensuring adherence to departmental protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Serves as the primary trainer and mentor for students, travelers, and new staff, ensuring proficiency in all aspects of radiography, adherence to provider preferences, and the ability to meet departmental standards and expectations. The Lead Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures, assists with workflow coordination, maintains equipment readiness, and supports staff development through training, mentorship, and performance feedback. This role is vital in coordinating Radiology’s support of surgical cases while balancing the department’s busy outpatient referral base, emergency add-ons, and inpatient needs. This position works closely with Operating Room staff to monitor surgical schedules, communicate real-time changes, and allocate Radiology resources to efficiently support scheduled, add-on, and urgent cases during on and off hours. This position works closely with the PACS administrator for any issues or QA and facilities the outcome. This position collaborates with the Director and Staff Scheduler to ensure coverage in all areas related to Radiography. The Lead Technologist also assists the Radiology Manager/Director with operational planning to achieve departmental goals and serves as a liaison between technologists, radiologists, and management to promote effective communication, workflow efficiency, and excellence in patient care. May also perform CAT scan, Mammography, MRI, or Ultrasound duties, with advanced certification in selected areas through ARRT, ARDMS, or other governing bodies. This position is Full-Time (PT available). Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs.
