SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of Manager, Medical Imaging, following established policies and procedures, oversees and coordinates the work of Radiologic Technologists and support personnel in the performance of a variety of technical radiologic procedures. Provides guidance and supervision to technologist and students on imaging procedures. Assures efficient scheduling of patients and room availability; develops appropriate work schedules for staff to support anticipated needs. Maintains appropriate inventories of medical and radiology supplies, assures operating integrity of equipment and performs clerical and administrative functions as necessary. Regularly performs all functions of a Radiologic Technologist. Maintains highest level of compliance by meeting regulatory needs of but not limited to American College of Radiology and The Joint Commission. All essential functions performed in the position reflect age specific needs of the geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients.
