About The Position

The Lead Quality Inspector is responsible for overseeing product quality inspections on the production floor ensuring the company's products meet safety and reliability standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of quality control, quality assurance or manufacturing experience

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections of materials and in-process product to ensure product quality meets quality standards.
• Collects and organizes data from inspections to drive quality improvements.
• Applies data driven approach and problem-solving methodologies to quality issues and process improvements.
• Works with manufacturing team to ensure quality control procedures are carried out properly.
• Works with Product Quality team to create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
• Works with Product Quality team to design, develop and conduct training sessions on quality control standards and process improvements.
• Requests and assists with corrective and preventive actions where required.
• Assists in evaluating, dispositioning, and documenting non-conforming products (NCRs).
• Participates in continuous improvement project teams and activities.
• Follows safety rules and maintains personal safety and the safety of others including maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Accurately records and reports information as required.
• Internal Quality Rejects percentage, Dock Audit report, incoming inspection reports.
• Other reports and information as required
• Assists with incoming inspection of critical inventory supplies.
• Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.
