About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Lead, Program Manager to support our Tactical Communications sector. This role is designed for a self-starter with strong skills in building relationships with international partners. The position requires excellence in dynamic environments, leveraging entrepreneurial abilities. The Tactical Communications (TACOM) International Program Manager will be a crucial member of our innovative team, leading impactful projects in Central and Eastern Europe. Based at our Rochester, NY location, the successful candidate will manage critical programs and significantly impact our business and financial goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years prior experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

  • Defense industry experience desired
  • PMP Certification desired
  • Experience with Central and Eastern Offset/Industrial Participation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of international programs through all phases from inception to completion.
  • Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
  • Work with Sales, international customers, and in-country representatives to determine and identify needs, requirements, and new opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Chief Radio Product Engineers, Systems Engineering, and Project Engineering to manage the program budget, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Work independently to seek out opportunities to fulfill offset, industrial participation, and other investment opportunities.
  • Manage and direct the completion and delivery of program CDRLs.
  • Brief Senior Leadership monthly on program status.
  • Direct the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of related contracts.
  • Ensure that all resources such as engineering staffing, production, and facilities are available to support the program.
  • Travel to Central and Eastern Europe up to 25% of the time is required.
