Recruiter: Joel Figueroa | [email protected] | Call / Text 813-862-5589 Partners with and guides the associates at the cylinder fill plant operations to ensure safe and efficient production of compressed gas products by following federal, state and local regulations and meeting Airgas Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by performing the following: Ensures adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment. Guides shift of plant operators to fulfill cylinder goals for area order fulfillment needs. Collaborates on plant activities to obtain excellent efficiency and flow of operations for the optimization of production. Oversees the daily work flow of cylinder retest. Assists with the loading and unloading of cylinders on and off pallets and tractor trailers. Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment. Follows and maintains all FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT guidelines and regulations that apply to compressed gases. Communicates frequently with Production Leadership on production efficiencies, product availability, and inventory. Provides training and mentorship for associates on prefilling, filling, loading, and unloading operations at the plant. Completes quality control process and paperwork as required. Reports any equipment or facility defects to leadership immediately. Proactively contributes to facility improvements (i.e. operations, reliability, and costs) while staying within a budget and communicating with Plant Manager. Fosters a conducive environment with a diversified team. Promotes safety and safety practices among assigned team members. Maintains neat, clean and orderly plant appearance. All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work request that falls within the qualifications but not specifically described. ________________________

Requirements

  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment and operate in a drug-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of five years’ industry related experience and/or training.
  • Must be proficient in filling all gases.
  • Must be proficient in operation of forklift and maintain appropriate forklift certifications.
  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for the purpose of explaining information to customers and employees.
