Overview: Entry level position. Performs variety of routine production functions in accordance with company work instructions and procedures.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral and written skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to read and understand written work instructions.
  • Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of all production equipment in their area with moderate level of supervision.
  • Work from standard Formula Sheets to load raw materials.
  • Familiar with all raw materials used in area by name, code and bin location.
  • Knowledgeable of handling procedures for all materials in area to prevent accidents.
  • Knowledgeable of all safety procedures and equipment in area.
  • Package out all products to correct weights or volumes following work instructions.
  • Perform all clean-up operations in the area, including but not limited to, washing of mixers and cleaning of packaging equipment.
  • Physical strength to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds frequently.
  • Must be able to work in hot and/or cold weather conditions in open warehouse area.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb stairs (open mesh) with varying degrees of pitch.
  • Other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
