About The Position
The Manufacturing Lead is a working lead responsible for coordinating daily production activities, staging materials, supporting operators, and assisting supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production.
Requirements
- Four years of related manufacturing experience or equivalent preferred.
- Line production experience in extrusion, rewind, rework, or cabling.
- Manufacturing process knowledge
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong communication
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Operate a forklift
Responsibilities
- Review daily production schedules and stage materials, tooling, and resources.
- Coordinate with Materials, Scheduling, and Supervisory teams.
- Assist with production job setup and changeovers.
- Support training and onboarding of production operators.
- Monitor production performance and identify issues.
- Assist with labeling and packaging documentation.
- Promote safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
