About The Position

The CR Scoring Product Lead in the Scoring and Reporting Operations Department is full time position supporting the annual planning and execution of the AP Reading. The job requires 2-3 weeks of travel each year, generally happening concurrently from late May to mid June. This Lead Product Operation Associate role will primarily be responsible for leading all scheduling activities in Rater Management and the O.N.E scoring platform inclusive of training of peers and consultation on new initiatives. The secondary responsibility of this position is related to data reporting. The role will manage the annual new requests, build and validation of data reporting tools (Power BI reports or MS Fabric) for the AP Reading. The Lead Product Operations will serve as a Site Lead during the AP Reading, coordinating event schedules with Chief Readers, developing floor plans and creating scoring strategies. The Site Lead role also requires exceptional organizational and customer service skills to manage vendor requirements and readers and Adecco staff onsite. This individual reports to the Sr. Director Product Operations for the AP Reading and is responsible for all aspects of schedule, budget, issue status and new work tracking for these two competencies. Additionally, the role will serve on the AP SROPs leadership team consulting on most aspect of annual Reading planning. Additional or different work may be assigned as required by the Sr. Director Product Operations.

Requirements

  • Project Management
  • Excellent knowledge of Data Analytics tools, Power BI, sequal data bases, etc.
  • Customer Service skills able to deal with peers, supervisor, external vendors and CB customer with balance, respect, and clarity
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required for this positoin
  • At least 5 years of experience in project or event management with comple requirements and disparate stakeholders.
  • Possess a "can do" attitude and contributes to conversations regularly
  • Is Process Improvement minded always assessing newer ways of accomplishing process tasks
  • Can work independently with limited guidance, keeping leadership informed of progress and issues
  • Ability to coach/lead individual contributors and ensure team effectiveness
  • Significant appreciation and knowledge of diversity and inclusion
  • Demonstrated success working in a matrix organization or with diverse cross-functional groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to execute complex plans with multiple contributors

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: experience using the Rater Management and ONE systems
  • Exceptoinal knowledge of Scheduling and Reporting Tools is preferred
  • AI certification and training are desired

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function
  • Utilizes solid organization skills in order to manage between 3 and 6 subject's requirements during the AP Reading
  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to design and create scheduling solutions related to the Rater Management and O.N.E tools
  • Creates internal scheduling training materials, conducts annual reviews and implements new solutions as needed
  • Develops reporting tools to measure progress and quality metrics from the AP Reading, responsible for collecting new requirements, working with IT to implement system changes and creating a validation plan each year before the Reading.
  • Creates Report training for staff and Chief Readers, conducts annual review of reporting tools and leads the development of new requirements from CB and the scoring and reporting team
  • Creates project plans for design and development of new solutions; Documents and communicates design decisions and strategies to key partners within the team and the AP Program.
  • Mentors/Coaches team members to teach best practices in scheduling and how to best use reporting tools.
  • Communicates with clarity, empathy and timeliness with peers, CB colleagues, and Chief Readers
  • Fosters a positive can-do attitude and makes efforts to support a positive relationship with College Board
