About The Position

At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney! We’re seeking a Guest-focused, strategic Lead Product Manager who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering impactful results across Disney Experiences. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams—including Technology Engineering, Commercial Strategy, Finance, and Operations—to support the definition of product roadmaps and requirements, contribute to project proposals and evaluations, and help measure outcomes for key Guest and Cast facing initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of the technology product roadmap for Disney’s Dining and Experience Reservations businesses, ensuring alignment with business goals and enhancing the overall Guest experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in digital or technology roles in the retail industry, with focus on increasing responsibility
  • Strong command of agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate a compelling vision for complex and seemingly disparate concepts
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, including mentoring direct and indirect reports and individual contributors
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Technology teams and operational departments.
  • Experience in synthesizing complex or diverse project data and information
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supports, collaborates with and provides informal leadership to product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions with a strong client and guest focus.
  • Contributes to team development by sharing product management best practices and helping prioritize work to meet delivery goals.
  • Drives product delivery within the dining and experience reservation portfolios under the guidance of leaders at multiple levels in the organization
  • Significantly influences the development of the Product Management vision and executes it to enhance Guest and Cast experiences across dining and experience reservation initiatives.
  • Defines and refines product features by synthesizing inputs from end users (e.g., surveys, analytics), business stakeholders (e.g., pricing, marketing), and industry trends.
  • Manages key phases of the product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.
  • Supports capability roadmap development and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conducts research on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborates with partners to prioritize capabilities, assess value, and align on delivery plans.
  • Familiar with various funding models and drives products through the various stages of product funding lifecycle
  • Monitors and analyzes performance metrics, draws inferences, and contributes to iterative enhancements.
  • Develops and drives proof-of-concepts (POC’s) that align with the product vision to validate technical viability and business assumptions.
  • Participates in change control processes to ensure alignment with business and technology expectations.
  • Communicates effectively through written documentation, presentations, and verbal updates across various levels of the organization.
  • Partners with Operations, Commercial Strategy, and Technology teams to maintain a prioritized backlog and delivery timeline.
  • Supports go-to-market efforts in coordination with marketing, content, training, consumer insights, and operations.
  • Works closely with Engineering to understand product capabilities and ensure clear communication across program, product, and project teams.
  • Participates in product and program meetings and provides updates to leadership as needed.
