About The Position

Position Purpose: A lead process engineer designs and enables efficent, effective, and repetable processes within store operations in support of business strategies. They will primarily work on high-priority, cross-functional projects across multiple business teams. A lead process engineer will need to respond quickly to opportunities, take appropriate actions to drive results, and communicate to all levels of leadership. They will spend part of their time in stores observing current state processes to document opportunities. They will work cross-functionally to solve for these opportunities using the IDOV process while leveraging Agile ways of working, driving productivity, throughput, and improved associate and customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
  • 3+ years experience practicing process improvement
  • Proficient in: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Sharepoint, Power Apps, Visio), Google Cloud Platform (Big Query, Big Query Assistant), Tableau, Jira

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Tableau
  • Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Industrial Engineering Degree or other related Engineering Degree
  • Experience practicing Agile or Kaizen ways of working
  • Experience directly or indirectly leading others
  • Lean Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Agile Ways of Working - Participate in Agile ways of working, including sprint planning, story sign-off, and demos
  • Collaboration - Partner with key stakeholders to design, test, and iterate through solutions
  • Data Analysis - Utilize analytics to provide insight, interpret results, or recommend decisions
  • Presentations - Synthesize results and findings through Powerpoint and stakeholder presentations
  • Roadmapping - Create quarterly and annual process improvement roadmaps by partnering with businses teams
  • Solutioning - Partner with IT, UX, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions to the field
  • Store Walks - Complete in-store Gemba walks to observe current state processes, complete process maps, and document process opportunties within run-the-business and strategic initiatives
