The Business Process Risk Identification (BPRI) Lead Process Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams across Key to document unique business process (UBP) workflows and dependencies from standard operating procedures, subject matter experts, and Key systems of record. The Lead Process Engineer identifies process optimization and risk mitigation opportunities through Key’s structured BPRI program methodology. The Lead Process Engineer supports BPRI Sprint Execution activities for several UBPs concurrently, including, stakeholder mobilization, process discovery, risk and control analysis, the identification of gaps and opportunities, and ongoing documentation refresh requirements, ensuring program alignment with organizational objectives and BPRI Program requirements. Essential Functions Applies process development and engineering expertise to create innovative, long-term solutions focused on both client and employee experience. Supports programs and leads projects targeting core business processes to achieve strategic goals such as enhanced client/employee experience and value realization (expense reduction and revenue growth). Engages with key stakeholders to assess and implement new technologies and processes that improve efficiency and consistency. Creates and maintains documentation used to evaluate current processes and design future-state recommendations. Uses tools such as process mapping and process mining to assess process capability and identify improvement opportunities; communicates findings to stakeholders to inform specifications and improvements. Leverages technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts to enhance monitoring, resiliency, and system availability. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of openness and inclusivity, ensuring delivery of expected outcomes and value.
