We are looking for an experienced Lead Pricing Analyst to create, evaluate, and oversee pricing strategies for midsize as well as full and open federal and defense proposals. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who understands the nuances of government contracting and can build compliant, competitive, and defensible pricing models with minimal supervision. The Lead Pricing Analyst will work closely with capture, proposal, contracts, and finance teams to ensure that pricing submissions are accurate, compliant with FAR/DFARS requirements, and aligned with company business goals.

  • Lead or support the development of cost and price proposals for competitive and sole-source government opportunities.
  • Conduct PTW analyses, scenario modeling, and risk assessments to inform sound pricing recommendations.
  • Develop and uphold comprehensive cost models including labor, materials, ODCs, travel, and subcontracts, while ensuring alignment with the Basis of Estimate (BOE).
  • Partner with capture, technical, and program management teams to effectively translate technical requirements into detailed cost solutions.
  • Maintain strict compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and internal company estimating policies throughout all pricing activities.
  • Participate in internal reviews and support pricing volumes, cost narratives, and audit responses (DCAA/DCMA).
  • Maintain and improve pricing tools, templates, rate structures, and cost databases to streamline future proposal efforts.
  • Support fact-finding and negotiation activities with government customers and subcontractors.
  • Analyze pricing trends, competitor data, and historical results to improve competitiveness and margin performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of pricing, cost estimating, or financial analysis experience within a government contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Price to Win(PTW) methodologies and competitive analysis.
  • Proven knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and proposal pricing best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling, and scenario analysis).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while managing multiple concurrent proposals.
  • Experience with CompAnalyst, Deltek Costpoint, or similar cost/pricing tools.
  • Experience with GSA Schedules, IDIQ/BPA task orders, and technology or services-based pricing.
  • Prior experience supporting DCAA/DCMA audits and cost volume development.
  • Exposure to automation and process improvement in pricing workflows.
