About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, passionate Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to lead our Pre-K classroom and prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Lead Teacher in a Pre-K or early childhood classroom (required)
  • CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education (required)
  • Strong understanding of kindergarten readiness standards and child development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and reliability

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum focused on kindergarten readiness
  • Creating engaging lesson plans that support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Leading and mentoring assistant teachers within the classroom
  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and nurturing learning environment
  • Supporting daily care routines, including meals, hygiene, and transitions
  • Communicating professionally and consistently with parents and families
  • Assessing and documenting student progress and development
  • Ensuring compliance with state licensing, health, and safety regulations
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organized classroom
