About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, passionate Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to lead our Pre-K classroom and prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten. This position is ideal for a professional educator who is committed to early childhood education, maintains high classroom standards, and approaches teaching with intention, structure, and care.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Lead Teacher in a Pre-K or early childhood classroom (required)
CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education (required)
Strong understanding of kindergarten readiness standards and child development
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
High level of professionalism, accountability, and reliability

CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum focused on kindergarten readiness
Creating engaging lesson plans that support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
Leading and mentoring assistant teachers within the classroom
Maintaining a safe, organized, and nurturing learning environment
Supporting daily care routines, including meals, hygiene, and transitions
Communicating professionally and consistently with parents and families
Assessing and documenting student progress and development
Ensuring compliance with state licensing, health, and safety regulations
Maintaining a clean, well-organized classroom
