This position involves assisting the Supervisor with department set-up and daily operations, ensuring compliance with USDA, production, and HACCP requirements. The role includes monitoring shoulder cuts, debone mechanical issues, and meat supply. The Lead will make staffing decisions based on product flow, mix, and attendance, relieve line personnel as needed, and fill in for absenteeism. Additionally, the role requires performing wash down during breaks and maintaining general housekeeping, and serving as a Supervisor backup during their absence. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
