About The Position

Works directly with customers to define functional requirements and design, configure, commission, and qualify industrial information systems.

Requirements

• 4 - 8 years of industrial information systems experience
• Ability to integrates new information systems with existing automation systems
• Analyze information and architect information system infrastructure solutions
• Ability to guild a project with little supervision and guidance
• Proven track record of managing small projects from start to finish
• Ability to author proposals, change orders for new and repeat business through relationships
• Communicate effectively and professionally with both customers and colleagues to present new ideas, accomplish challenging goals, and solve problems
• Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people
• Experience with AVEVA PI systems
• Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle

Nice To Haves

• B.S./B.A. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems with a strong software focus
• Communicates in a persuasive manner with both customers and colleagues at RoviSys to present new ideas, accomplish challenging goals, and solve problems
• Systems design, development, configuration, startup/OCM, and maintenance experience in “Manufacturing OT/IT” systems such as real-time inventory management, operations dashboards/addons, LIMS, CMMS, OEE, QMS
• Experience defining and implementing technical solutions as part of Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners, and clients to provide state of the art information system solutions to address technology decisions, data management, scalability, security, and user interface design
• Lead teams of engineers, developers, and technicians to provide information system solutions for clients
• Mentor less-experienced engineers/developers
• Develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project execution
• Provides technical sales support to RoviSys business development team
• Support of clients at their sites
• Analyze information and architect information system solutions
• Integrates new data collection systems with existing control systems
