Position Details Role: Lead Physical Therapist Schedule: Monday–Friday, clinic hours 7am–7pm (40 hours/week) Primary Location: Enfield, CT Float Locations (as needed): Farmington, Glastonbury, Manchester, Plainville, Rocky Hill What You’ll Do The Lead Physical Therapist provides expert orthopedic care for patients recovering from surgery, managing sports injuries, or dealing with spine/extremity conditions. You will also support and guide clinical staff while contributing to seamless clinic operations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited PT program (BS, MS, or DPT)
  • Active or temporary CT PT license
  • Strong interest in orthopedic patient care and rehabilitation
  • 3 years minimum experience preferred but open to any candidate with strong orthopedic experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality orthopedic evaluation and treatment for post‑operative, sports injury, and spine/extremity patients
  • Support daily clinic operations, including staffing, workflow, and equipment oversight
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment
  • Assist with quality assurance, data tracking, and regulatory compliance
  • Onboard, mentor, and support new clinical staff
  • Coach and provide clinical supervision for PTAs, PT students, and Rehab Aides
  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model for the therapy team
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors about workflow, staff needs, and patient care issues
  • Engage in ongoing clinical development by observing surgical procedures, leveraging physician office hours, and cultivating strong partnerships with referring providers
