As a Lead Patient Coordinator, you’ll oversee the front office duties with collaboration and direction by the Office Manager to facilitate the flow of the office while acting as a liaison between the physicians and patients to provide high quality customer service and clinical care. This full-time role will work Monday through Friday, with no weekends. Our Primary Care clinic operates in a busy, fast-paced environment, and we seek a candidate who thrives under such conditions. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of medical, administrative and/or customer service experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • Acts as a role model within the clinic
  • Maintains a positive, respectful attitude, high team spirit and morale
  • Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload

Responsibilities

  • Trains new hires and visiting staff regarding Administrative Care Department Procedures and Responsibilities
  • Provides feedback for bi-annual reviews of employees within the department
  • Manages office supplies inventory
  • Assists in completing the monthly safety checklist
  • Assist in hiring new employees for department
  • Implement new tasks and protocols
  • Distribute work tasks in and to the department
  • Address provider issues or concerns with department or other parties, as requested
  • Assist the Office Manager with daily/weekly/monthly tasks including but not limited to weekly deposits
  • Assists with staff meetings/huddles and provides feedback regarding issues in the front office
  • Meeting/greeting/assisting patients promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner
  • Balancing the cash register and ensure all credit card payments are accurate at the end of each day
  • Mail letters and make monthly and weekly calls as appropriate
  • Process all referrals for our patients including providing complete and accurate referral information to the patient sending the required information to the specialist and insurance company
  • Cover for front desk and complete Patient Coordinator duties as needed
