About The Position

Action Power Sports is seeking a Lead Parts & Accessories professional to help drive growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency within our Parts Department. This is a highly customer-forward role that plays a key part in supporting new major unit sales while also managing current and obsolete inventory. The Lead will help set department goals, improve processes, and serve as a key support for both customers and internal sales teams. Parts department experience is ideal but not required —we are looking for a motivated leader with strong organizational skills, customer service focus, and the ability to learn quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Parts department or powersports experience is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge or interest in powersports, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or accessories preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service at the parts counter, over the phone, and online
  • Assist customers with parts and accessories selection to support major unit purchases
  • Work closely with the sales team to increase accessory attachment rates on new major units
  • Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business
  • Manage current parts inventory to ensure accuracy, availability, and efficiency
  • Identify and help reduce obsolete or slow-moving inventory
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and cycle counts
  • Support inventory planning and organization to maximize profitability
  • Help establish and track department goals (sales, inventory turns, customer satisfaction)
  • Assist in developing processes and best practices for the Parts & Accessories department
  • Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and teamwork
  • Support training and mentoring of team members as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in the dealership management system (DMS)
  • Ensure parts department standards are met for cleanliness, organization, and safety
  • Coordinate with service and sales departments to ensure smooth operations
