Make a Difference The Lead Paramedic provides daily shift-to-shift leadership supporting the operations of the department. The Lead Paramedic exhibits excellence in clinical patient care, customer service, critical thinking, schedule management, relationship competencies, organizational skills and acts as a role model. The Lead Paramedic demonstrates performance consistent with all professional standards of practice and care, mission, vision and policies of the Network. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current Paramedic License to practice as a Paramedic in the State of Indiana
• Valid Driver's License required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Certified Paramedic Certifications/Licensures required
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) required within one year of hire
• Demonstrates accountability for own actions with an openness to change and learn
• Demonstrates customer service skills to provide exceptional patient and family experience
• Takes initiative to help others
• Computer skills for documentation and work-related purposes are require

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience working as a Paramedic, EMT, or ED Technician is preferred
• Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem solving.
