Make a Difference The Lead Paramedic provides daily shift-to-shift leadership supporting the operations of the department. The Lead Paramedic exhibits excellence in clinical patient care, customer service, critical thinking, schedule management, relationship competencies, organizational skills and acts as a role model. The Lead Paramedic demonstrates performance consistent with all professional standards of practice and care, mission, vision and policies of the Network. Community Health Network has an excellent opportunity available within our EMS Department at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo, Indiana. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Current Paramedic License to practice as a Paramedic in the State of Indiana
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Certified Paramedic Certifications/Licensures required
  • Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) required within one year of hire
  • Demonstrates accountability for own actions with an openness to change and learn
  • Demonstrates customer service skills to provide exceptional patient and family experience
  • Takes initiative to help others
  • Computer skills for documentation and work-related purposes are require

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience working as a Paramedic, EMT, or ED Technician is preferred
  • Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem solving.
