You’ll move fluidly from precision troubleshooting to new equipment installs, from welding a bracket to mapping conduit, from documenting setup parameters to auditing PMs and OSHA records. Your work protects throughput and product quality—every shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2–5 years in manufacturing with GMP familiarity.
  • Scheduling flexibility: First shift (6 AM–2 PM), second shift (2 PM–10 PM); ideally available for a swing-style schedule covering both (about 9 AM–6 PM).
  • Exceptional troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pump, and production equipment domains.
  • Team-first mindset; adaptable and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming basics (Allen-Bradley, Siemens); industrial control systems
  • Electrical schematics; installation; troubleshooting; repair
  • Work with 120/208/240/480 VAC
  • Preventive maintenance, inspections, and machine safety audits
  • Root cause analysis; process development; machine setups for production runs
  • Machine building/assembly; manual machining; gear mechanisms
  • Mechanical design fundamentals; lean manufacturing; Kaizen
  • Meet physical requirements for maintenance work; proven success in manufacturing settings

Responsibilities

  • Triage and fix equipment issues with a bias toward continuous production and minimal downtime.
  • Lead line setups, changeovers, repairs, and full reassembly of production machinery.
  • Apply multi-craft skills: fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting.
  • Execute electrical tasks: swap motors, fuses, and cables; install conduit; pull wire.
  • Complete scheduled PMs and maintain accurate, auditable records.
  • Assist in installing and commissioning new manufacturing equipment.
  • Partner with teams to enhance machine and process design; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Author and refine SOPs; improve line layouts and plant design for safety and efficiency.
  • Help maintain PM logbooks, manage tool crib readiness, and support compliance with 21 CFR 210/211 for OTC manufacturing.
  • Support facilities operations, including boilers, air handling units, and HVAC systems.
  • Create setup sheets and forms that make results repeatable across production campaigns.
  • Interpret OEM manuals to ensure correct operation and maintenance practices.
  • Initiate purchase requisitions for parts and consumables when necessary.
  • Serve as a technical resource; respond to off-hour needs for alarms or security-related issues.
  • Ensure OSHA-related regulatory compliance and maintain complete records.
