About The Position

Revolution is hiring Lead Operators to support its Hudson, WI location. This role is responsible for the direction and support of team members to ensure plant processes are followed to attain safety, quality, and production goals. Operates and makes adjustments to ensure extrusion machinery and equipment processes are produced at peak quality and efficiency levels. Ensures production resources including materials and equipment are available as needed to achieve production schedules. Coordinates and monitors product changeover to maintain quality while maximizing output plus minimizing waste/scrap. Directs assignments of operators/team members and maintains extrusion machine processes to produce a product that meets or exceeds customer requirements at standard efficiency. Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, productivity, quality, scrap reduction and efficiency, customer satisfaction, cost, and customer service. Completes and maintains required logs and records for ALL orders and equipment. Understands and consistently performs daily tasks. Assist operators/team members in making roll changes and changeovers. Run extrusion equipment if shorthanded. Assist with training new employees, operators, and material handlers. Ensure a safe and orderly work environment and comply with all established safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent, and computer literacy.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing environment and plastics required.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of plant equipment and safety.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a fixed day or night shift on a 2/2/3 schedule.
  • Able to work overtime as needed and on short notice.
  • Able to lift to 50lbs.
