Join us as our new Lead Operator In this role you'll make an impact by Managing and continuously improving the Master Cleaning Schedule and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures to ensure food safety, productivity, and compliance with regulatory and third-party standards. Leading and supporting the sanitation team through daily oversight, training, and performance feedback to meet quality and safety objectives. Monitoring sanitation activities, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain consistent adherence to procedures. Managing inventory and coordinating cleaning and sanitization supplies to ensure materials are maintained and readily available. Inspecting facility structures-including walls, floors, and ceilings-to ensure proper maintenance and repair. Coordinating and overseeing contractors and supporting sanitation initiatives during production or staffing shortages. Reviewing sanitation data, communicating findings, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts through participation on cross-functional teams such as safety, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with 2+ years of experience preferred in an FDA-regulated or controlled manufacturing environment (e.g., dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, or food), including food safety and sanitation experience.
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform all essential functions of the position.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly during the shift.
  • Relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities developed through a combination of education, training, and work experience to perform the role successfully.
