Novolex, Where Packaging Innovation Meets Career Opportunities! Job Summary: The Lead assists the Production Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor in all manufacturing processes and procedures. Works in collaboration with employees, and management team to enforce safety and quality policies and procedures as dictated by company’s handbook. Responsible for assisting with training new employees. The Lead will perform same labor functions as the workers being supervised to allow employees to take breaks and when business conditions warrant it.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to effectively communicate.
• Ability to keep up in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Will input production in computer.
• Wraps and weight all production skids.
• Weighs scrap and inputs in computer.
• Will assist with breaks, changeovers and screen changes.
• Works with production staff to ensure lines run without any issues.
• Executes and enforces safety policies and procedures.
• Works with production staff to ensure the quality of the product.
• Communicates with Maintenance Supervisor about equipment problems.
• Will perform other labor functions as needed.
• Operate forklift safely
• May perform other duties as assigned.
