About The Position

The Lead .NET Full Stack Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in leading software development initiatives and delivering high-quality, scalable technical solutions. This position is responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining complex cloud-integrated applications using the .NET framework. A deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture is essential, while familiarity with AWS is a valuable asset. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership in engineering practices and a passion for driving innovation in cloud-native development. This position is based in an on-site work environment located in Raleigh, NC. The role requires teammates to be physically present in the office five days a week

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and eight to twelve years of experience as a developer or equivalent education and related training or experience
  • Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge
  • Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes
  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices
  • Ability to lead complex projects
  • Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems
  • Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective

Nice To Haves

  • Strong expertise in .NET application development and cloud technologies, with deep knowledge of Azure architecture.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, complex solutions in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS is a plus.

  • Strong expertise on SQL coding
  • Expert on Azure SQL Managed Instance and integration with applications

  • Extensive experience with ETL tools and integration architecture

Responsibilities

  • Participate in testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated support of Truist's most complex solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end software development initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
  • Propose and implement innovative, robust technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable applications and services in a cloud environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with .NET applications hosted in Azure.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and security of cloud-based solutions.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
