About The Position

Akkodis is seeking a Lead .NET Developer for a Contract with a client in Indianapolis, IN / Plano, TX / Boston, MA / Portsmouth, NH/ Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of enterprise applications using ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API while ensuring secure, scalable solutions. Rate Range: $37/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering with strong .NET development expertise.
Proficiency in ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and SQL Server, including data warehousing and ETL/SSIS packages.
Strong understanding of authentication/authorization security protocols and experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to refine requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Ensure application security and performance optimization, including implementing authentication and authorization protocols.
Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members to maintain best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack, ensuring system reliability and scalability.
Document software processes and contribute to architectural decisions to support long-term maintainability and innovation.
