Requirements

  • Candidate will have a BS degree with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant work experience. Candidates with associates degree with 10 + years of experience will be considered.
  • 2 + years of experience in MES implementation, with a strong focus on MES Aegis FactoryLogix.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, IT systems integration, and enterprise applications (ERP, PLM, MES, SCADA).
  • Expertise in FactoryLogix configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in APIs, databases, and middleware for system integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training workshops and technical documentation
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Architecture Lead the design and architecture of complex FactoryLogix solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, manufacturing processes, and IT infrastructure.
  • Develop comprehensive technical specifications, design documents, and integration strategies for FactoryLogix implementations.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and automation within the FactoryLogix ecosystem.
  • Implementation and Configuration Oversee and execute the full lifecycle implementation of FactoryLogix modules.
  • Configure and customize FactoryLogix to meet specific manufacturing needs, including routings, BOMs, work instructions, quality plans, and data collection.
  • Integrate FactoryLogix with other enterprise systems (ERP, PLM) using various integration methods (APIs, databases, middleware).
  • Technical Leadership and Support Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, junior engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train internal teams on FactoryLogix best practices, new features, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead complex troubleshooting efforts for FactoryLogix-related issues, providing advanced technical support.
  • Develop and implement proactive monitoring and maintenance strategies for FactoryLogix systems.
  • Optimization and Documentation Analyze existing FactoryLogix implementations to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for FactoryLogix configurations, processes, and integrations.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for FactoryLogix implementation, administration, and usage.
  • Training and Collaboration Provide hands-on support during implementation phases, including blueprinting, prototyping, testing, data migration, go-live, and post-go-live support.
  • Lead training workshops for end-users and IT teams to ensure smooth adoption and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing systems with other enterprise applications.
  • Act as the point of contact for the manufacturing team on all FactoryLogix-related topics and participate in relevant meetings/workshops with stakeholders.
