About The Position

The Lead Mental Health Professional (LMHP) provides clinical leadership, direction, and oversight within the Behavioral Health Clinic (Emerge). This role ensures delivery of high-quality, person-centered mental health services in alignment with Ray Graham Association's mission, values, regulatory standards, and best practices in behavioral health. The LMHP balances direct clinical service with team mentorship, program development, and compliance oversight. This position maintains a reduced caseload while supporting Mental Health Professionals through supervision, training, clinical consultation, and quality assurance.

Requirements

• MA/MS in a relevant human services field.
• Active LCPC or LCSW in Illinois.
• 4 years supervised clinical experience.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• All applicants must be willing to comply with our drug and alcohol policies, which may include pre-employment and/or random drug testing.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years in I/DD or mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold agency mission, values, policies, and procedures.
• Provide clinical leadership and team development.
• Develop treatment plans using CIS and IM+CANS.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Provide counseling and direct supports.
• Ensure program integrity, compliance, and accurate documentation.
• Participate in advocacy, outreach, and partnership activities.
