About The Position

The Lead Member Technical Team - Product Integrity plays a pivotal role in ensuring that products meet high standards of quality, reliability, and safety throughout their lifecycle . The role involves a holistic approach to product development, from initial design concept , through development, NPI, initial production and delivery. This position monitors emerging issues in areas of compliance, regulatory requirements and environmental product impacts.

  • At least 1 0 years of experience in product development, testing, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Master's in Electrical or Mechanical E ngineering is preferred.
  • Experience with sheet metal and plastics is desired.
  • CREO and Windchill experience is desired
  • Familiar ity with regulatory and testing agencies such as UL, CEC, ASTM, IEC, CE, and RoHS a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of products for regulatory and marking compliance
  • Perform risk management - identification of potential risks and defects and then developing mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
  • Development of verification and validation (V&V) test plans to verify performance and compliance.
  • Act as SME to the business to ensure compliant supply chain, new product development, and marketing processe s are adhered to.
  • Ensure that records to support safety and compliance are maintained
  • Lead investigation and problem solving for safety and compliance issues.
  • Maintain ETL files and compliance to include ECN maintenance.
  • Ensuring products are marked and labeled properly.
  • Maintain i ndustry specification library
  • Respond to RFPs related to compliance.
  • Work with CMs & suppliers to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Review test results, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Work with s ourcing to ensure that the Item Master contains the necessary RoHS, REACH, WEEE , Calif Prop 65 information from our suppliers.
  • Lead DFMEA development.
  • Develop product specific testing and inspection requirements with Engineering and Quality.
  • Assist in other duties as required
