Acts as general supervisor over assigned lab activities. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree in relevant science or equivalent as defined by CLIA'88
- 4 years experience as Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Lab Scientist (CLT) with general lab/multi-department experience
- General bench tech skills required to provide coverage in all modalities
- Nevada State License as general supervisor required
- ASCP or equivalent board registration required.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide high quality of patient care appropriately (specific age competent).
- Must possess appropriate people skills, organization and attention to detail.
- Must act as a resource for others.
