About The Position

Lead Medical Assistant – Lisle- Family Practice Position Highlights: Full-Time, 40 hours per week Hours: Monday-Friday; day shift, hours vary Location: 430 Warrenville Road Lisle, Illinois 60532 Travel: As needed. Under the direction of the Site Physician(s) and Practice Manager, serves as a primary assistant to physicians and nurses. Practices high quality medical care in performing a variety of patient care activities such as preparation for appointments, minor exams and procedures, laboratory and maintenance controls, patient documentation, and various office duties. Responsible for all duties included in the Medical Assistant job description. Takes inventory and performs ordering of supplies. Assists with coordinating staff meetings. Supervises work performed by department and may delegate work to staff members. Counsels and coaches the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict resolution. Assists with staff development, new employee orientation, and training. Monitors and ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures. May be responsible for performance evaluations as required by Human Resources. Responsible for managing the schedule, time keeping, and payroll if necessary. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program required.
  • CPR Certification required
  • A minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience preferably in the medical field
