This position will be floating between all clinics listed below, 1-3x a month, but can vary depending on turnover, call-outs, and PTO requests. Main Clinic: Banner Med Grp 1435 S Alma School Rd Banner Children's- 3493 S Mercy Rd, Bldg 15 Banner Health Ctr- 155 E Warner Rd Banner Med Grp- 17900 N Porter Rd Banner Med Grp- 4530 E Ray Rd, Suite 150 Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm (candidates need to have flexibility to work a 40 hour shift during these hours) this position will be floating within BMG Primary Care locations in Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert and Maricopa. Uncertified Medical Assistant must complete an accredited MA Program and have an MA Diploma. Uncertified Medical Assistants will be considered and will have 12 months to become nationally certified once employment begins. Uncertified Medical Assistants will have access to Medical Assistant National certification study material and Banner will pay for the cost of certification. A passing score would result in a pay increase due to an MA’s newly certified status. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for assisting clinicians and nursing staff in providing medical care, as well as, implementing and evaluating direct patient care. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and skills to provide an excellent patient experience. Possible Restriction in Cerner- Can do everything but place orders, prescription refill.
