About The Position

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer to help design and deliver electromechanical hardware systems for our clients. This role is mechanical engineering–focused and centers on the mechanical design of products that integrate electronics, sensors, and embedded hardware. You will work directly with client teams to develop hardware products from early concept through prototyping and manufacturing. Successful candidates are mechanical product engineers who are comfortable working around electronics and embedded hardware, and who enjoy building real hardware systems. This role requires a strong combination of: mechanical design electromechanical system integration hands-on hardware prototyping design for manufacturing technical leadership You will collaborate closely with electrical engineers, firmware engineers, and product teams to bring hardware systems to life. For this role we are looking for mechanical product engineers who are experts in MCAD and comfortable working alongside electrical and firmware engineers to deliver integrated hardware systems. Some of the traits we are looking for include: Previous experience designing and testing electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) practices for electrical and mechanical. Exposure to hardware systems involving: Microprocessors, microcontrollers, IoT communications protocols, and common sensors Hardware prototyping tools (3D printers, soldering, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, etc) Low-level embedded firmware or embedded Linux Data collection techniques Our mechatronics engineers work across disciplines to deliver cutting-edge hardware solutions to our clients, fast.
