About The Position

Lead manufacturing engineers to support launch, commissioning and scaling up of our Busway assembly operations. Serve as the lead in advancing current factory assembly processes and ensuring consistency and knowledge sharing across the assembly lines. Review product designs for manufacturability and completeness Improve existing products and new product launches through designing and implementing different assembly line models (semi / automated conveyance systems, flexible cell design, one piece flow, batch flow) Design highly automated material handling solutions to establish new and improved existing material flows throughout the assembly lines. Hands-on support on a mixed model shop floor environment Apply lean manufacturing principles (specifically - mixed model assembly line design, lean material flow, standardized work) to improve operations. Lead Structured Problem-Solving process for assembly lines (DMAIC methodology) to identify root cause and implement permanent solutions. Review, process, and execute Engineering Change notices. Develop and prepare work instructions, control plans, Process Failure Mode Effects Analyses (PFMEAs), and process validation plans. Train production personnel in new or existing operations Lead and Facilitate VSM workshops and kaizen events in assembly lines. Prepare capital equipment requests.
