Job Description What you’ll do Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy and roadmap initiatives Execute hand offs for new product introductions, part and technology transfers, new process introductions, and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time, technology selection, tooling, fixturing, programming, quality plan, and run-off of initial production sets Execute hands-on development of new products and processes enabling a successful hand-off to the production team Manage project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process quality, qualifications, and Lean Strong ability to identify and eliminate waste while coaching others Engineering, standardizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes Participate in productivity efforts supporting cost competitiveness Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with wider team on breakthrough initiatives What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent experience) Minimum of 4 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment Ability and desire to work on site in a manufacturing environment This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
