About the team and the role: As Lead Manager, Corporate Communications, focused on crisis management and financial communications, you will report to the Senior Manager, Financial & Crisis Communications and play a key role in helping protect and enhance eBay’s reputation during high-impact, high-visibility moments. This role supports external communications for earnings and financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and sensitive issues and crises. You will help ensure eBay communicates clearly, accurately, and consistently with key external audiences, including media and investors, while supporting senior leaders in fast-moving, high-stakes situations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in financial and crisis communications and the ability to translate complex information into clear, credible messaging. You will bring sound media judgment and a history of developing, pitching, preventing, and securing high-impact media coverage, applying that experience to complex and sensitive communications. You are calm under pressure, highly collaborative, and comfortable operating in an execution-focused role that contributes to strategic outcomes.
