About The Position

Location: Denton, TX Position Status: Full-Time Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (Occasional Saturdays) The Lead technologist is responsible for the daily clinical operations of their assigned centers. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the Lead technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience. Department/Center Highlights: Patient-Focused Team Cohesive and Friendly Environment Supportive and Encouraging Atmosphere Here is what you will need: Education: Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology Experience: One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist with documentation of clinical experience and 3D required Licensure: Valid state radiology registration as required by state law Certification: Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology Current CPR/BLS Certification Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years. Knowledge of database software, eRad, Sectra RIS/PACS software is preferred; Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred; Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology; A Day in the Life of a Lead Mammography Technologist: Provide services and support for the following areas: Understands, promotes and demonstrates the "Solis Way" Performs mammography and/or assists with biopsies on as needed basis Monitors clinical staffing levels. Provides excellent patient care, communicates procedures and provides education on an as needed basis to new and existing clinical team members Effectively handles patient complaints as, evidenced by patient survey scores and escalates as necessary; Assists center director in MQSA compliance as it relates to tracking, following up and credentials; Ensures compliance with all Policies and Procedures; Ensures supplies are available as needed to meet patient demands; Coordinates service and maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime, as requested by center director Acts as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information and responds to requests within 24 hours; Maintains confidentiality of patient and team member information 100% of the time. Requirements

Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
