About The Position

Position Highlights: SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000 Position: Lead Mammography Technologist Location: Arlington Heights, IL Full Time - 40 hours/week Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Required Travel: Float to Vernon Hills, Gurnee, Northbrook, Buffalo Grove, Kildeer, & Schaumburg What you will do: Team Lead responsibility, oversees a work area or function, without the ability to hire, terminate, promote or evaluate another position. Performance of all quality control as specified and performs routine mammographic exams. Serves as department contact for various government agencies. Implementing all radiologist recommendations. Maintenance of records for all mammographers. Maintenance of mammographic supplies and equipment. Patient scheduling/patient flow. Prepare daily work schedule. Performance of evaluations. Orientation and training of staff. Oversees Women’s Health patient flow and addresses patient/staff questions on a daily basis. Works to obtain all images for ACR accreditations for Mammography/Stereotactic images.

Requirements

  • Five years experience as a Mammography Technologist, required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology required.
  • ARRT certification and current ARRT registration required.
  • ARRT Mammography certification and current ARRT registration required.
  • Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license required.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification required from the American Heart Association.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
