For many years the Renaissance Shoals Resort & Spa has been the premier hotel in the entire region, offering luxury, modern amenities, and spectacular dining options to our guests. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Maintenance professional to join our engineering team. As a Lead Maintenance, you will be responsible for supporting the Director of Engineering in the daily operations of the Engineering Department, perform essential repairs and upkeep with a primary focus on maintaining and repairing all kitchen equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and fully functional culinary environment, ensuring the resort remains in top condition for guests and staff alike by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and helping oversee facility upkeep. You will also coordinate with external vendors when necessary and keep detailed records of all maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose, repair, and maintain kitchen and refrigeration equipment for optimal performance.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and codes while keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Service Response & Customer Support: Respond quickly to service calls and prioritize urgent repairs.
- Documentation & Recordkeeping: Keep accurate records of maintenance work and parts used.
- Project & Departmental Support: Assist with construction-related maintenance and communicate effectively with other departments.
- Inventory & Procurement: Monitor parts inventory and submit timely purchase requests.
