About The Position

This position is assigned to Yuba College, Marysville CA. Yuba College is seeking an equity-minded, dynamic, collaborative, and innovative employee to serve as the Full Time Lead Grounds Maintenance Worker. The work hours are from Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or may vary. BASIC FUNCTION : Under the direction of the Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor, perform gardening and grounds maintenance work in the beautification of campus grounds; train, assign and provide work direction to assigned grounds maintenance staff.

Requirements

• Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of increasingly responsible grounds maintenance experience including the operation of various landscape construction equipment.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Valid Qualified Applicator’s license.
