We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow. 2nd Shift Team Lead As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians that will handle regular preventative maintenance of equipment, robotics, facilities, and any other requested work needed by the team. This includes maximizing uptime through regular operation and observation of equipment and robotic work cells, including annotation of performance and metric collection. You will handle implementation of hardware change requests and maintenance requests, installation and assembly of new equipment, and support software researchers by manually resetting items in robotic work cells, resetting the safety system, and resolving intervention requests. Additionally, you will maintain documentation of work performed and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to resolve malfunctioning equipment.

Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of experience working in a robotics or automation environment
  • 4-5+ years Experience with maintenance, repair and modification of systems
  • 1-2+ years in leading a team of technicians or engineers
  • Inventory and spare parts organization and documentation experience
  • Parts ordering experience
  • Team player being able to wear multiple hats and help the team as need
  • Must be able to prioritize work in the most efficient and effective way possible
  • Experience working with suppliers to create diagnostic
  • Testing and validation experience
  • Experience implementing / maintaining maintenance and repair processes and ensuring they are well documented and tracked.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong understanding of System architecture
  • Need to be able to use SW provided by supplier / manufacturer to monitor the health of the robots.
  • Will need to be able to read mechanical and electrical diagrams
  • Will need to trouble shoot robots and mechatronics systems when having physical problems
  • Will need to preform Mechanical, Electronic, Motion control and Power systems maintenance and integration
  • Must be able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot various actuators and sensors in robotic systems
  • Need to be able to work with power tools to preform repairs on versus types of robots
  • Will be expected to help build various obstacles and structures as needed for testing and development
