Maintenance Planner/Command Center Coordinator Basic Function - As the Lead, you will perform the duties of a coordinator, as well as oversee the team and Command Center operations, train and mentor team members, manage schedule and balance vacation/holiday and call outs to ensure 24/7/365 minimum coverage, and act as the primary escalation point during critical events. You will manage preventive maintenance planning, emergency coordination, and ensure compliance with FDNY fire safety regulations (F-53 and S-95). This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and rapid decision-making in a 24/7 environment. The Lead will also lead day to day coordination with Fire/Life Safety Testing and Inspection Teams under ASG's supervision. The Lead will manage the full lifecycle of maintenance work—from preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling to corrective and emergency response planning—while ensuring adherence to FDNY fire safety regulations and NYC Fire Code. You will operate out of the Command Center, serving as the central hub for maintenance and emergency operations, utilizing Maximo CMMS and ATLAS mobile platform to ensure all work is planned, scheduled, documented, and completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
